Narishige General Purpose Micromanipulators

The M- 152 is a coarse movement 3-axis lightweight manipulator suitable for lOmm diameter bar mounting. As a stand-alone unit it can mount to a GJ- 1 magnetic stand and in this arrangement may be used for holding Biologic Rapid Solution Changer or Manifold Solution changer heads. It may also be used as the coarse positioner for fine micromanipulators. Movement range X:25mm Y:2Omm Z:25mm

The MMN-1 coarse manipulator is mainly used as a coarse positioner for for fine movement micromanipulators such as the MHW-103. Adaptors are necessary for stage-mounting or illumination support mounting. Movement range 3Omm (XYZ).

The NMN-21 micromanipulator combines coarse and fine movements. The vibration-free design also minimises drift resulting in a compact and economical manipulator suitable for patch-clamping and other delicate microelectrode work. Movement range 15rnm coarse (XYZ) 6mm fine (XYZ), minimum graduation 1 micron. May be bench-mounted using GJ- 12 magnetic stand, or stage-mounted using suitable adapter.

The MM-3 is a 3-axis coarse manipulator with additional fine movement in the X-axis. The coarse axis control knobs are located on both sides and so the unit can accommodate either left or right hand operation. Suitable for bar mounting to 12mm dia. rod, so may be used with GJ-8 magnetic stand. Movement range (coarse) X: 4Omm Y:2Omm Z:40mm (fine) X:7mm min. graduation 10 microns.

The MX-3 compact micromanipulator provides drift-free performance making it ideal for long-term patch recording. It offers both coarse and fine movements in all 3 axes and includes a rotating mechanism permitting swift and easy pipette replacement. Movement range (coarse) X:25mm Y:15mm Z:35mm (fine) X:3mm Y:3mm Z:35mm minimum graduation 1 micron. Adaptors are available for a wide variety of microscope mounting.

The M-3333 This is a very narrow micromanipulator with all the knobs protruding in a single direction allowing a number of microelectrodes to be inserted simultaneously at closely adjacent sites. Use XA X-block adaptor to mount to GJ-8 magnetic stand. Coarse movement X:4Omm Y: l2mm Z:3Omm fine movement X:7mm.
